The Chichester Food Pantry wants to thank Grateful Sleds for their generous donation to those less fortunate. Please remember your local pantry with donations of non-edible items throughout the winter season. Thank you.

The town pantry would like to thank the Chichester School 7th grade class and the Epsom Bible church for their food donations this month.

Interested In Exploring A Career In Law Enforcement?

Since August, the Chichester and Pittsfield Police Departments have partnered to create the Suncook Valley Explorers post 331. Exploring is a Learning for Life’s career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) or 15-20 years old.  Exploring’s purpose is to provide experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.

At monthly meetings, Exploring Post 331 will focus on introducing the youth to the field of law enforcement through focus lessons, guest speakers, and field trips. If you are interested in exploring the career of law enforcement, this may be the opportunity you’re looking for.

Call or email Corporal Wright at 798-4911, [email protected] for additional information or find them on Facebook at Suncook Valley Explorers Post 331.

Out Of Your Attic Thrift Shop News

Submitted By Carol Hendee

When you come to visit the shop, please take note of our new Open sign.  It is hanging on the post by the mailboxes, visible from both directions. We thank “the sign guy” Dave Hartley for a nice, lightweight sign all our volunteers can carry.  We will still use the large yellow sign by the door and the flag so you can tell we are open for your business.

Please remember, we will be closed Monday, December 31st (New Years Eve) and Tuesday, January 1, 2013, New Year’s Day.  We wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy New Year!

We will start our New Year with regular hours on Wednesday, January 2nd 10-4; Thursday 8-4 and Sat. 10-4.  When you stop by, please tell the desk volunteer what you would like to see for a “daily special” during the New Year!

You can call us at 247-7191 or visit the website babythreadsofnh.com to see who and what is new!
