Out Of
Your Attic Thrift Shop
Are you familiar with “Dora”, the little
cartoon character that says “backpack, backpack, backpack?”
Well, that is Baby Threads motto for now through August.
We are collecting once again, backpacks to pass out to kids who need
them for school. We need: backpacks, notebooks, binders, pens,
pencils, colored pencils, markers, highlighters, rulers, crayons,
scissors, glue sticks, erasers and folders. Packs of tissues
are also helpful. Bonnie and helpers will deliver the
backpacks directly to the schools for nurses and guidance counselors
to pass them out to those in need.
Soccer starts in August, and
we still have some cleats in smaller sizes. We also have a
supply of men’s and women’s shorts and bathing suits; if you
need an extra to get through the summer, we probably have one for
you! There is also a supply of sandals for kids, to replace
the ones they’ve already lost this summer.
Come
visit. We have air conditioning! Mon. 8-12, Tues. and
Thurs. 8-4, Wed. 11-4, Fri. and Sat. 10-4. On Route 28, in the
yellow plaza near the Pittsfield line. Or call us at 247-7191.
