very interesting hobby, please join us. There will be meeting on
Friday, July 23rd, at 7 p.m. at the Conant School in Concord to
get things organized. Please contact Deb and Randy Harris at

A belated Happy Birthday to “Grammy” Sue Gilmore on July 18.
Be involved in your community. We need “person power” for
Chichester’s Old Home Day on August 21. Folks are needed to park
cars, serve food, judge contests, help with events, and keep the
grounds tidy. Community Service hours will be given for students
who are looking for ways to earn some. Many hands make light
work. Contact Jaan Luikmil at 798-4987 or 545-9087 (cell) if you
can help.
Please contact Carol Frekey-Harkness at 798-5443 if you will
be participating in the Apple Pie Bake-off at Chichester’s Old
Home Day on August 21. She needs to know how many to plan for or
if the event will happen at all.
The Old Home Day Variety Show will be held on Thursday,
August 19, at Chichester Central School. Do you have a number
for the program? Please contact Jaan Luikmil at 798-4987 or
545-9087 (cell) if you would like to perform.
Happy Birthday to Mason Pillsbury on July 22.

Letter
Hello, I was browsing on my computer and found myself
goggling Suncook Valley Sun, to my surprise there it was in
living color. It was great to read about the places that I grew
up in and loved.
I lived in Chichester, NH, over 20 years on Smith Sanborn
Rd. in a beautiful log home that I loved and miss very much. I
moved to Asheville, NC, approximately 4 years ago for the milder
winters. I very much enjoy the state. Asheville has beautiful
falls with colors almost as beautiful as NH, (almost).
Just thought that I would email the paper and let “you’all”
know how much I have enjoyed reading the “Sun” while I lived in
NH and have missed it since moving here. Never gave the internet
a thought, but I will be a weekly reader again and look forward
to reading about the folks that I have known for years and all
the new and old things that are happening in an area of the
world that I LOVE!
Best to everyone.
