Health
Insurance Enrollment Fair
On
Saturday, January 17th from 9am to 12pm the Service Link Resource Center
and Health First Family Care Center will be hosting a Health Insurance
Marketplace Enrollment Fair at the Oscar Foss Memorial Library.
Certified Assisters will be on hand to answer any questions or to help
you enroll on the Health Insurance Marketplace. Registration is not
required and this event is free to attend.
Diary of a
Wimpy Kid Party!
On
Saturday, January 24th at 10am the Oscar Foss Memorial Library will be
hosting a Diary of a Wimpy Kid Party. Come with your favorite books,
dressed as your favorite character, or just to talk about Greg and his
neighborhood. There will be games, snacks, and lots of fun for everyone!
Writer’s
Club
On Monday,
January 26th from 6:30-7:30pm the library will host our first Writer’s
Club meeting with Kristina Schram. We are excited to invite writers of
all ages to join our group. The club will meet monthly for writers to
share and discuss their work. There will be plenty of opportunities for
writers to expand their skills. This is a free program open to the
public and registration is not required.

Hillsgrove
Wayne Henry
Hillsgrove, age 59, of Prospect Mountain Road in Alton, died at home on
January 8, 2015.
Born in
Wolfeboro on August 4, 1955, the son of Joseph Henry Hillsgrove and Lois
F. (Partridge) Hillsgrove, he resided in Alton his entire life.
He was self
employed as Wayne Hillsgrove & Son Trucking, log hauling.
A “jack of
all trades”, Wayne enjoyed helping others, fabricating and building
homes for family, also a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, especially
“whitetail”.
Wayne loved
to make everyone laugh.
Survived by
his mother Lois F. Hillsgrove and stepfather Fred Doherty, his son Shawn
H. Hillsgrove, 2 granddaughters: Cloe and Leila Hillsgrove, his daughter
Stephanie L. Hillsgrove, 2 brothers: Leon J. Hillsgrove and Lee A.
Hillsgrove, also a niece and nephews. Predeceased by his father and a
son Joshua Wayne Hillsgrove.
Calling
hours are Friday evening from 5-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central
Street, Farmington, NH with a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 17,
2015 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring at
Pine Grove Cemetery in Gilmanton Iron Works. To express condolences,
