On December 24, 2013, the Barnstead Parade Congregational Church will be holding a Candle Light Christmas Eve Service at 7 PM. All are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there. This will be a wonderful way to start your Christmas. We must always keep the Christ in Christmas.

The Barnstead Historical Society has a Christmas display at the Oscar Foss Memorial Library. There are some wonderful old pictures of Barnstead. Please check it out - we want to keep our history alive!

Nighthawk Hollow Seniors

The Nighthawk Hollow Seniors of Barnstead gathered at the Barnstead Town Hall and carpooled to the Red Apple Buffet in Concord on Wednesday, December 4, for their annual Christmas luncheon, party, and gift exchange. We welcomed several new members, and all present were treated to a meal as guests of our club. Lovely gifts were exchanged.

Meetings will be held during the winter months, unless school is called off due to inclement weather.

At the January 8, 2014 meeting we will have a pot luck luncheon and play bingo beginning at 12 noon at the Barnstead Town Hall. New members are always welcome to join the club. We have fun, educational, informative, interesting and delicious meetings. Dues are only $4.00 a year.
