Jim
Wickliffe Of Children’s Bible Fellowship To Speak To CBCC
Jim
Wickliffe, President/CEO of Children’s Bible Fellowship of New York,
will be speaking this Sunday, February 20th at the Center Barnstead
Christian Church.
Jim is a graduate of Philadelphia College of the
Bible. His major was Christian Education. After graduating in 1968, Jim
spent many years in “part time” ministries. These ministries included:
Interim Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, Bus Ministry, Youth Director,
Vacation Bible Schools and work with homeless teenage boys.
In 1978
God led Jim and his wife to full time service with Children’s Bible
Fellowship of New York, Inc. Since then Jim has worked in many areas:
Street Evangelism, Bible Clubs, Rallies, Clowning, Teacher Training and
he directed Camp Joy.
Jim’s burden is to realize God’s vision for
Children’s Bible Fellowship, which is “Making Disciples of New York
City’s Forgotten Fields”. Those forgotten fields include the
saving of the poorest of poor, lost, hurting and broken children and
their families in New York City by reaching them through all means
available, so that they may know and experience the saving knowledge of
Jesus Christ.
Jim will be coming to do a weekend prison seminar at
the Concord State Prison through Prison Fellowship and Center Barnstead
Christian Church. Jim will also be speaking at the church this
Sunday during Sunday School, which begins at 9:00 AM and at our Morning
Worship, which starts at 10:00 AM.
For more information please
contact the church at 269-8831. The Center Barnstead Church is
located on Route 126, next to the Town Hall.
