Breakfast Saturday, January 16th from 7:30-8:30 AM. All men are invited
to come and enjoy breakfast and hear from a guest speaker. The Center

Schedule Change
Beginning January
10th, the Center Barnstead Christian Church is changing the times of its
services. Sunday School will begin at 9:00 AM for all ages. For the next
6 weeks the adult Sunday School class will begin at 8:50 AM. It will be
a 6 week video driven class by Ken Ham featuring lesson on creation,
such as: Genesis: The KEY to reclaiming the culture, Only one Race, Why
Won’t They Listen?, The Bible Explains Dinosaurs, Where Did God Come
From? and The 6 Days Of Creation.
Then the Morning Service will
begin at 10:00 AM. Come and worship with us this Sunday! The church is
located on Route 126, next to the Town Hall. For more information

2010 Artist
Showcase At Barnstead Library
The Oscar Foss Memorial Library in
Center Barnstead would like to announce the start of our year long 2010
Artist Showcase. The display resides in the main section of the library
and displays a different local New Hampshire artists’ artwork each
month. The medium varies, depending on the artist. Now showing are
Elli’s Oils, the oil paintings by artist Eleanor Graham of Concord.
Elli’s work of “Usable Art” - painting on canvas, wood, glass, metal and
stone, will be on display through February. For more information, please

Obituaries
Kevin R. LaBrecque
Center Barnstead - Kevin R. LaBrecque, 43, of
Holmes Road, died January 4th. He was born in Concord on June 4,
1966, the son of Roland V. LaBrecque Sr. and Alice May (Pitman).
He lived in Barnstead all his life. He attended Pittsfield High
School. He was a self employed contractor having worked as a
sheetrocker, a logger and an auto mechanic and was a “jack of
all trades.”
He is survived by a daughter, Lily Smith of Barnstead; 4
brothers, Arthur G. “Rocky” LaBrecque and Diane of Boscawen, Roland
V. LaBrecque Jr, and Wendy , David A. LaBrecque and Robin, and
Joseph M. LaBrecque and Cindy, all of Barnstead; 2 sisters, Laurena
M. Bates and James of Saco, ME. and Karen M. Montgomery and Rickie
of Barnstead; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15th from
4-7 PM in the Perkins & Pollard Memorial Home, 60 Main St.
Pittsfield.
An urn burial will be held in the spring in the Pitman Cemetery,
Barnstead.
