Reminder


There will be a fundraiser to support Tim Smith and his family as he recovers at HealthSouth in Salem, NH.


A  Car Wash and  Bake Sale will be held at the Barnstead Parade Fire Station on Saturday, April 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Also, Raffles will be held.


If you are interested in donating baked items or would like to help out on the 18th, please contact Debbie Nickerson at 738-3355. Baked items may be brought to the fire station after 9 a.m. on the 18th.



The Pine Grove Cemetery, located in Gilmanton Iron Works, will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 21st at 7 p.m. at the church (729 Stage Rd.) across from the cemetery. We can always use new members and ideas. Light refreshments will be served.



The Barnstead Historical Society will hold an organizational meeting at the Town Hall on Thursday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. We will discuss meeting topics, a fall trip, and a number of projects. Members and interested persons are strongly urged to attend and give voice. As always, the meetings are free and open to the public. Second Trimester


The following students in Grades 4-8 at the Barnstead Elementary School have earned High Honors or Honors for the Second Trimester. Students who have received As in all of their subjects qualify for High Honors. Those students who have earned As and Bs in all of their subjects qualify for Honors. In addition, students qualifying for High Honors and Honors must have received grades in effort and conduct that are average or above.

Men’s Breakfast


Calling all men! The Center Barnstead Christian Church will be having a free Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, April 18th at 7:30 AM. This will be a good time of food and fellowship.


Paul Blake will be the speaker. He will be sharing his testimony. We look forward to seeing you there! The Center Barnstead Christian Church is located next to the Town Hall on Route 126, off Route 28.
